Federal Government opportunity in NewcastleContract until December 2024, with possible extension$60.26 per hour + super Hybrid work arrangementAs a Project Officer, you will lead complex projects within the Australian Federal Government department, operating under limited direction and guided by legislation, policies, and standards. This role entails resolving issues, providing technical expertise, and ensuring project deliverables meet high standards. Key responsibilities include project planning, advice provision, research, reporting coordination, budget monitoring, risk management, and project quality management.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Develop and manage project plans and schedules.Provide specialist advice and technical expertise.Conduct independent research and analysis.Coordinate project reporting and prepare written material.Monitor project budgets and assist with procurement.Identify and manage project risks, issues, and benefits.Contribute to project quality management.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Previous experience in interfaces such as health, justice, or child protection.Proficiency in writing business cases, plans, executive briefs, and corporate documents.Experience in the disability sector.Proficient in conducting research and analysis in related areas.Experience working in virtual project teams.To Apply:
