The Role
Our region is in the midst of the most consequential strategic realignment since the Second World War. The Strategy, Policy, and Industry (SP&I) Group is keen to explore opportunities for public servants from all backgrounds. Examples of the impact you could make include:

About our Team
We are a fully integrated civilian-military workforce, drawing on high-quality and motivated people from diverse backgrounds and academic disciplines who embody Defence and Australian Public Service values.

Our Ideal Candidate
An ideal candidate for a SP&I policy role should possess a strong background in research and analysis, excellent communication skills, and practiced leadership and people skills. They should also demonstrate critical thinking abilities, sound judgement with an innovative approach to problem solving, and the capacity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
