The Role
This multi-disciplinary position is responsible for the governance of ICT services and oversees Service Providers and their ongoing work. You will be responsible for implementation and active management of ICT processes and framework. This position works closely with Defence business areas and Defence industry partners to ensure Defence ICT services are secure, stable and fit for purpose. This role primarily involves ICT service management, contract management, stakeholder engagement with elements of Secretariat duties and project management.

The ideal candidates will play a pivotal role in sustaining and enhancing ICT services across JCG by championing a customer-centric approach and a strong focus on stakeholder engagement.

Effectiveness in this role necessitates collaborative work under broad guidance alongside other JCG functions and Defence business stakeholders, with a primary goal of delivering business outcomes efficiently and effectively. This entails the need for well-developed communication and relationship management skills.

While having a background in service management, some technical ICT knowledge, and project management skills can be advantageous, JCG welcomes applicants who may not possess experience and skills in all of these areas, provided they can demonstrate the potential and capacity to develop them.
