Salary: $91,702 - $104,753 + up to 15.4% Superannuation Location: Fairbairn - ACT The Role Accountable to lead the development and maintenance of the Governance Framework.
Use experience to apply project management methodologies to administrative and technical activities.
Research, draft and prepare briefs, complex correspondence and reports including submissions for committee consideration.
Assess and adjust project management methodologies to comply with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks.

SPACECOMD has been established to prepare space power to secure Australia's interests in peace and war.
Its vision is to assure Australian civil and military access in space, integrated across Government, and in concert with allies, international partners and industry.
The Chief of Staff Branch in SPACECOMD manages a range of Command wide business functions and is looking for a high performing APS 6 Governance Coordination Officer to join our team, in this integrated and high tempo environment.
On-the-job and formal training will be provided.
Our Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong skills and experience in: Researching and analysing activities to identify and address Governance framework gaps and risks to capability.
Contributing to implementation and continuous improvement of Governance and frameworks in accordance with legislation and Defence policies.
Providing advice on the application of Governance within legislation and Defence policies and procedures.
High level planning, organising and prioritising skills.
Managing complex work packages in compressed timeframes.
Stakeholder engagement and management.
The candidate will have the following demonstrated attributes: Building/maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
Strong planning/time management skills, particularly prioritisation and critical thinking.
Judgement and a bias for action in driving outcomes, including problem solving and flexibility.
Financial and contracting experience.
Skillful communicator (both written and verbal).
