Central agency recruiting an APS6 Governance and Secretariat Officer Your new company This independent statutory agency is responsible for supporting a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australian families and carers. Your new role As a Governance and Secretariat Officer within this small team, within this role you will be supporting the team through duties including but not limited to: Establish governance policies, standards, and data sharing arrangements to enhance data flows across the division. Assisting with procurement processes Establishing and maintaining positive and productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including contracted service providers. Financial tracking Statistical analysis and reporting Preparing high-quality correspondence, briefing and reports ensuring sensitivity and complexity Undertake travel planning Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor complex and or sensitive information to suit a RA. What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will be proficient in the tasks as listed above; you will also be a competent user of Microsoft Suite. You will need to be able to think quickly on your feet and have excellent attention to detail. You must clearly demonstrate your flexibility and adaptability while keeping calm under pressure. You must be an Australian citizen and possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a Baseline Personnel Security Clearance What you'll get in return This is an exciting role with an attractive hourly rate.
