110862B APS6 Finance Reporting Officer6 month contract $60.26 ph + super, ASAP startAbout the OrganisationRandstad is currently a preferred partner with a reputable Federal Government organisation to recruit for the below role:Job title: APS6 Finance Reporting Officer Rate: $60.26 per hour + superHybrid location: Geelong + Work from home (WFH)Contract duration: 6 monthsAbout the TeamThe organisation's Budget and Finance Controls Branch is responsible for the financial management of the organisation, and provides insightful financial reporting to enable strategic decision making.Key Responsibilities:Execute monthly reporting, asset accounting, and general ledger management.Knowledge of AASB accounting standards and frameworks, as well as external Commonwealth agency reporting requirements.Produce executive briefs and technical accounting position papers with precision.Foster collaboration across teams within the Branch and across the Organisation.Contribute actively to business improvement processes and strategies through critical thinking and analysis.Demonstrate proficiency in SAP, Excel, and KMPG Reporting Models.Key Skills Required:Degree qualification in accounting and finance, coupled with membership of a recognised professional accounting body.Experience in a similar financial accounting role.Australian CitizenshipFamiliarity with the Department of Finance's Central Budget Management System (CBMS) - desirable.Willing to obtain police checkThe ideal candidate should possess substantial and directly applicable experience in the fields of Financial Accounting, encompassing asset accounting and external agency reporting. Prior experience in Financial Reporting within a Commonwealth Government Environment is highly preferred.Interested?
