Canberra Location | S26 Transfer (Permanent) | NV1 Security Clearance Required | $98,903 - $111,207 per annum plus 15.4% super
OVERVIEW
Our Federal Government client is currently seeking a high-performing APS6 finance officer wanting to broaden their corporate experience and knowledge across a diverse range of issues.
You will work as part of a team to manage the delivery of effective, responsive, and consistent financial services to various groups.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Providing financial management support, budget preparation, and financial performance monitoring and reporting.Building and sustaining relationships with stakeholders and subject matter experts to deliver financial management outcomes.Assisting in the delivery of improved reporting outcomes.Analysing divisional expenditure and providing financial insight and advice to TIG staff.Exercising judgment and operating independently.Flexibility and a willingness to undertake other duties as required. EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS Thinks strategically and is a strong team player.Shows good judgment.Responds positively to changing priorities.Willingness to learn.Good communication skills.Good practical knowledge of financial management systems (SAP, TM1), and Excel.Well-developed understanding of the department's financial management framework.
