Job Description APS6 Executive Assistant 3-6 month contract | Canberra Location | $61.08 - $68.68 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation | NV1 Clearance Required OVERVIEW Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join their team at the APS6 level.
Within this role you will work very closely with senior members of the division to deliver on high profile priorities for the division and wider department.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Provide complex administrative services, advice and support.
Manage offices, including complex diary management and scheduling of visit programs; Identify and resolve complex administrative issues that may impact the delivery of these services.
Assist with managing workflow, including prioritising submissions and briefings, meetings, and correspondence.
Assess competing priorities and propose recommendations.
Liaise, build and sustain collaborative relationships across the division and manage internal and external agency stakeholders.
Lead complex coordination activities to deliver outcomes to meet relevant deadlines.
Use discretion and judgement to plan and manage the flow of work and visitors.
Always act in a manner that is professional, open and responsive.
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS Highly motivated and passionate about providing administrative and executive support and assistance to senior executive officers and their respective teams.
You will want to add value by using your initiative and judgement to recognise issues and risks, develop solutions, anticipate and respond to the needs of the SES officers you are working with.
You will have excellent administrative and coordination skills, be highly organized and adept at managing multiple complex diaries and the reprioritisation of tasks to accommodate competing and changing priorities.
Demonstrated ability to use relevant corporate departmental systems and applications including.
You should be able to discreetly handle sensitive information, maintain confidentiality and adhere to the APS and departmental conduct and values.
