Salary: $91,702 - $104,753 + 15% BDCP + up to 15.4% Superannuation

The RoleThe Electromagnetic Warfare and Intelligence Systems - Land Systems Program Office (EWIS-L SPO) is seeking to fill multiple APS 6 Professional Engineer positions across the SPO's.
As a Professional Engineer, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills to a highly exciting portfolio of work, while working within a multidisciplinary team of project, logistics, engineering and enabling team members.
You will work independently with the opportunity to provide engineering support for electronic warfare (EW) systems used by the Australian Army including tactical EW sensors and electronic countermeasures, as well as corresponding support and test equipment.
These activities will include engineering investigations, performance evaluations, overseeing maintenance, and configuration management activities to ensure safe and effective operation by the ADF.This role will require strong knowledge of technical regulatory frameworks and a demonstrated understanding of the One Defence Capability Lifecycle would be highly advantageous.
This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP).
This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability.

Skills and experience working within Technical Regulatory Frameworks.Skills and experience working within communications engineering function and be responsible for the development, implementation, safety, compliance and review of policies and procedures relevant to their work within that function.Skills and demonstrated experience in integration of electronic warfare systems.The capacity to think strategically and manage workflows, resources and prepare work and team plans by detailing milestones and achievement of expected outcomes.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Sound commercial and business acumen and a demonstrated understanding of the Defence Industry in Australia.#J-18808-Ljbffr
