Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission The role is to administer the IBM MQ and IBM ACE installations used by ACIC for messaging and integration. This involves installing and patching IBM MQ and IBM ACE, securing access to these installations, monitoring messaging, production support for messaging, configuration in a clustered, distributed environment. Key responsibilities: Configure, maintain and provide support of IBM MQ and IBM ACE infrastructure components to expose ACIC's data and services. Ensure high availability of messaging infrastructure (IBM MQ, IBM ACE and SFTP Servers) for all users. Maintain secure connections and data encryption to law enforcement jurisdictions, accredited agencies and between messaging servers and application client connections as prescribed in the ISM. Work closely with other teams in overlaying security and infrastructure, developing, maintaining and managing stakeholders effectively. Provide messaging and integration advice towards architecture to meet the ACIC IT blueprint Apply strong incident and problem resolution skills to identify and mitigate risks and conduct R&D activities. Develop improvements to enhance system reliability and security by monitoring emerging issues together with rapid response through effective monitoring, logging, audit and testing to identify and rectify problems. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following experience, skills and attributes: Demonstrated experience in design and supporting complex IBM ACE and MQ deployments and working with SSL, and general PKI concepts, XML standards and schemas, performance monitoring, logging, audit and testing tools Experience and familiarity with IBM MQ clustering and multi-instance queue manager environments Ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships through consultation and sharing of information Demonstrated experience analysing and troubleshooting complex technical enquiries, including the ability to apply sound judgement to problem solve when faced with competing priorities Good verbal and written communications skills, including demonstrated ability to maintain productive working relationships and to liaise effectively with Senior Executive officers to reach an agreement on complex matters relating to IT.
