Our Federal Government client is seeking dedicated and knowledgeable Data Analytics Specialists for full-time APS6 - EL2 positions. These roles are available across various locations including Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. What you'll do: Analyse and interpret complex data sets to influence strategic decisionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver comprehensive solutionsDevelop and implement effective data collection systems and strategiesEnsure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and proceduresUse predictive modeling to increase and optimise customer experiences, revenue generation, campaign optimisation and other business outcomesWork on special projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and ability to multitaskWhat you bring: Proven experience in data analytics or related fieldStrong knowledge of statistical tools and databasesExcellent understanding of machine-learning and operations researchKnowledge of R, SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an assetExperience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop)Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitudeMust be an Australian CitizenWhat sets this company apart: Our client is a reputable entity within the Australian Government sector offering both full-time and part-time opportunities across various locations.
