Aps6 Digital Communication Officer - Nv1/Nv2 Clearance

Exciting opportunity to join a Federal Government Department in Canberra for a 12-month non-ongoing role, with options for transfers.
The department is looking for skilled Digital Communication professionals with experience in website management and content development for digital channels!
Key duties for the Digital Communication Officer role include:
Administrate the Departments website, including managing user access, website architecture, website performance health, quality assurance, and accessibility.Work with external contractors to remediate technical problems and enhance the functionality of the website, including identifying areas of potential improvement.Develop training products and deliver training to new users of the website.Manage the existing website content to ensure it is accurate, current, relevant, reliable, and optimised for the current audience.Copywrite new digital content as information gaps or new communication needs are identified.Create digital content plans to maximise opportunities and minimise risk.Use data analytics to assess the performance of the website and social media content, and to identify content gaps.Support content ideation, copywriting, and moderation across all social media platforms.Maintain a strong visual identity for Smartraveller products within the existing brand guidelines.Create visual content for social media and other products using the Adobe Creative Suite.Liaise closely with internal and external stakeholders.Ensure competing online communication priorities are delivered to a high standard.Other duties required at level.Qualifications or Experience Experience using GovCMS Drupal website platform, or a similar content management system is desirable.Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro is desirable.Eligibility Requirements
The department requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 or Negative Vetting 2 level clearance security clearance.
