$91,702 - $104,753 + up to 15.4% Superannuation Russell - ACT The Role You will be accountable for implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislative and policy requirements to manage usage of overseas supplied technologies and services by JC2SPO and its customers.This will involve the application, development, and communication of advice on relevant legislative and policy frameworks, government decision-making and policy requirements on Export Controls, exercising both initiative and judgement in the interpretation of relevant policies and in the application of endorsed practices and procedures.You will engage independently and as part of an integrated team member in liaising and supporting JC2SPO project and product managers and other customer stakeholders in the management and resolution of complex issues.This will involve identifying, anticipating and responding to stakeholders' needs and expectations to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes.About our Team The Joint Command and Control Systems Program Office (JC2SPO) is responsible for the acquisition, integration and sustainment of command, and control warfare systems for the Australian Defence Force across the country and in operational theatres overseas.These capabilities include computer applications that support planning and conduct of operations, including IT infrastructure and command and control systems for deployed military forces across the five Domains.JC2SPO acquires and sustains joint-information warfare capabilities that are mission critical to all three services of the Australian Defence Force.Our Ideal Candidate As an ideal candidate, you would be able to: Apply relevant legislation and develop and apply relevant policy and procedural knowledge, experience and skills, under pressure, to meet the demanding needs of multiple stakeholders relating to Export Controls; Plan, prioritise and communicate effectively to ensure that efforts are appropriately directed to meeting customer and team needs and keeping them informed; Build and maintain working relationships through effective relationship management, including engaging with stakeholders to manage expectations and concerns; and Demonstrate integrity, curiosity, resilience, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively and independently within an integrated environment.Information Pack Opens in new window
