Details of the offer

Our client is responsible for processing and evaluating new prescription medicines, new uses of medicines and other variations to medicines, leading to an approval or rejection decision. Through evaluating the premarket clinical aspects of prescription medicines, and with advice from other branches they ensure that these medicines are safe, efficacious and become available in a timely manner. They are currently looking for a Departmental Officer to assist with ad-hoc related activities across the section as required (such as FOI requests, ministerial correspondence and other coordination activities), and ensure work is undertaken in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.Other duties: Liaise with internal stakeholders and assist with requests to coordinate communication.Appropriately escalate and assist with resolving issues by liaising with internal and external stakeholders.Undertake specific projects as required to assist the section and senior members of the team with management, strategies and implementation of ongoing reform work.Provide additional support and assistance to the section and Branch as required.
