Scheme Management Group works with stakeholders across Comcare, leading data management and reporting functions so that they are well governed and efficient; we promote smarter use of our data. The role will sit within the Chief Data Office (CDO) team which is responsible for ensuring that Comcare takes a mature and sophisticated approach to the management and use of data and works across Comcare to: Deliver better insights through new platforms and capability uplift. Ensure data architecture and data models cater for versatile reporting and analytics needs. Delineate impacts within our data environment to facilitate a better understanding and implementation of effective controls. Create a framework that helps people understand their responsibilities when it comes to data. Embed continuous improvement in process and quality of data captures. Ensure consistency in the description of common data terms. Ensure data is leveraged effectively to solve business problems. Enable data capability gaps to be identified and addressed across Comcare so that Groups can be more self-sufficient in working with data. Overview of the role The Data and Analytics Translator will also work collaboratively with the Program Transition team which reports through to the Comcare Executive Group and Program Sponsor/s. The primary objectives of the Program Transition team are to: Transform the way we service our clients. Implement a contemporary technology platform. Streamline business processes and improve user experience. Improve our ways of working, driving higher efficiency. Increase organisational capability in delivering transformational change. The Data and Analytics Translator, CDO, will contribute to Comcare's priorities and inform evidence-based decision-making by facilitating data-driven change. This will involve collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, evaluating and integrating a variety of information and conducting business analysis to deliver organisational data maturity uplift and to deliver an enterprise-wide Program. This role will have two primary focus areas. One focus area is to work with the Chief Data Office to uplift Comcare's data maturity through the implementation of a data and analytics strategy, which is focused on delivering business value through data and analytics. The other focus area is to support a whole of enterprise Program solution in conjunction with the Program Data Lead and program resources, by conducting data related activities. The Data and Analytics Translator, CDO, reports to the Assistant Director – Chief Data Office and will work closely with the Program Manager, Data Lead, Chief Data Office, Technology & Information Services (TAIM) and key business stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and integration of the Program requirements. Experience Mandatory: Recent and relevant experience (2 years +) in a data and analytics translator or data analysis role. Desirable: Practical user experience and business analysis skills. Security Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
