About the role
The Cyber Security Officer, reporting to the Assistant Director Cyber Security Operations, is responsible for supporting the Agency's Cyber Security Operations (CSO) capability.
As part of the Cyber Security Team, we:
The CSO team is responsible for continuously monitoring, detecting, and reporting on cyber security incidents and vulnerabilities to assess the level of threat to the agency, including risk identification and analysis.
This includes providing the technical expertise to manage the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform, vulnerability scanning systems, and other cyber security capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include (you may undertake some or all of the following):
Continuously monitor and detect cyber security incidents. Report on vulnerabilities and assess threats to the agency. Manage the SIEM platform and vulnerability scanning systems. Our Ideal Candidate
