The successful candidate will report to the SEA 5000 Deputy Director Security Manager and the Business Team Director.
As a part of the Hunter Class Frigate Branch, this role is an excellent opportunity for an individual to rise to a new challenge working with an integrated Australian Defence Force, Australian Public Service and contracted workforce to support the build of the Hunter Class Frigates.
The role provides excellent development opportunities for you to apply technical, operational, professional and administrative activities, procedures, practices and project management methodologies to deliver what is needed for the project.
You will manage multiple stakeholders across Defence and our Defence Industry.
You will need to work collaboratively by building effective relationships with team members and actively participating in group activities.
About our Team The Hunter Class Frigate (HCF) will be one of the most advanced warships in the world with cutting edge technology and capabilities.
As Australia's largest shipbuilding project, HCF provides the foundation for Continuous Naval Shipbuilding in Australia.
We are working with experts from the UK, USA, Canada, and Europe to provide six frigates optimised for anti-submarine warfare to the Royal Australian Navy.
The frigates are being constructed at the Osborne Naval Shipyard, South Australia utilising the latest production technologies.

Ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems that supports the Hunter Class Frigate Program outcomes.
Monitoring, detecting, analysing, and responding to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
Providing advice on cybersecurity assurance and risk management.
Reviewing and reporting on security controls.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, internal team members, external vendors and service providers, and end-users to address security challenges, implement security control and ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
Develop and deliver cyber security training programs.
Have a keen eye for detail.
The ability to manage a range of project activities and coordinate project inputs in accordance with organisational practices, methods and standards appropriate to the complexity of the project.
Adaptability, resilience and flexibility in the face of changing priorities and be open to learning new things and willing to assist other team.
