As part of the ANAO people team, the ANAO Academy and Capability Team is responsible for the delivery of programs and services that support the achievement of our Workforce Plan commitments. We work in collaboration to design frameworks, identify development priorities, and provide responsive and integrated learning to enable our workforce to develop the immediate and future capabilities required to deliver on the ANAO purpose and audit outcomes. Our learning services and products are underpinned by the ANAO Academy principles of empowerment, purpose, impact, quality, and continuous learning.

You will play a key role in delivering on the People Team priorities. As part of a collaborative team, you will report to the Director, Capability Strategy and work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality, impactful corporate development programs and experiences to the ANAO workforce. Your primary role will be to manage the ANAO Graduate Development Program.

Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of the ANAO Graduate Development Program and other early career pathway initiatives, such as internships and cadetships.Manage and monitor the full lifecycle of the ANAO Graduate Development Program, from capability development to rotations and end-of-year progression.Provide ongoing support, mentoring, coaching, and direction to program participants, ensuring their successful development and integration.Foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the program, engaging with business lines and offering clear guidance and support to the supervisors of program participants.Support the Director Capability Strategy to implement and coordinate ANAO corporate programs such as leadership and talent development programs.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of corporate programs, employing a continuous improvement approach to ensure they meet the agency's goals and the needs of program participants.Work closely with the Early Career Recruitment Manager to create a skill-based, engaging graduate development program that enhances the overall graduate experience and meets the operational needs of the ANAO.Contribute to Capability team objectives and deliverables by collaborating and supporting team members, managing queries and requests relating to learning and development, including the ANAO Professional Development policy.Prepare and deliver high-quality publications, promotional materials, reports, and briefings related to early career programs. Who we are looking for:
The successful candidates will have the following experience and attributes:
Proven experience in designing, administering, implementing, and facilitating learning and development programs, particularly those focused on early career professionals.Strong verbal and written communication skills, including expertise in the delivery of engaging presentations, content development, and producing materials consistent with the Australian Government Style Manual.Exceptional stakeholder management skills and demonstrated experience in building and maintaining positive professional relationships both internally and externally.Practical project management, and data analytics and reporting capabilities to support program management and monitoring.A strong alignment with the ANAO's values, with a genuine enthusiasm for contributing to meaningful work within a collaborative, supportive, and flexible environment.

Desirable qualifications:
There are no essential qualifications for this role; however, the following are desirable:
Relevant qualifications in coaching, human resource management, organisational development, workplace education or instructional design, business, psychology, and/or equivalent professional certifications through the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI).

Eligibility: Citizenship – To be eligible for employment with the ANAO, applicants must be an Australian citizen.
Security Clearance – The Australian community requires the highest level of integrity from ANAO employees.
