Only Australian Citizens are eligible to apply.About the TeamThe Co-Design and Engagement Branch supports all Agency policies, processes or initiatives that require a co-design approach and/or interface with community, mainstream and sector stakeholders. The branch provides advice and operational support when engaging with sector stakeholders and the disability community.About the RoleThis role focuses on engaging with people with disabilities, their families, and carers to enhance their experience and social participation through consistent communication and outreach. It involves managing relationships with key stakeholders, delivering engagement projects, representing the agency at events, and supporting enquiries, while applying strong communication, project management, and facilitation skills.Key ResponsibilitiesEvent and Workshop Coordination: Organising and facilitating co-design working groups, workshops, meetings, and other events, ensuring meaningful insights and outcomes.Material Development: Creating and managing meeting materials, workplans, and reports related to co-design activities.Engagement Strategy Implementation: Contributing to the development, execution, and monitoring of targeted co-design strategies that align with broader engagement plans and business objectives.Stakeholder Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders for co-design and engagement purposes.Reporting and Documentation: Preparing reports, briefing papers, correspondence, and discussion papers for senior executives and government officials.RequirementsAustralian CitizenshipStakeholder engagement and lived experience working with people with disabilityCo-design experience, Human Centered DesignGovernment experienceLeadership experienceInterested?
