The Role

As an APS 6 Business Intelligence Officer in the Industry Strategy and Partnerships (ISP) directorate you will contribute to developing Defence and industry partnerships that are at the leading edge of Defence Capability.
As an APS 6 Business Intelligence Officer you will:
Within a risk context, perform Business Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) activities to establish a baseline of knowledge for the large GWEO industry stakeholder group;Capture BI&A of the strategic, tactical and operational challenges faced by GWEO industry stakeholders;Support provision of guidance to industry on collaborating with Defence and contribute to initiatives to strengthen industry knowledge of GWEOUndertake research, conduct data analysis and communicate insights to support GWEO industry and strategy initiativesFacilitate the implementation and support of the governance and processes associated with a maturing GWEO industry program. ISP is an integral part of Strategy and Plans Branch which is part of Capability Development Division within the new Guided Weapons & Explosive Ordnance Group. ISP facilitates cooperation between industry, Defence, International Partners and the broader Australian Government and provides linkages to accelerate GWEO acquisitions and develop domestic manufacturing. The GWEO Group comprises various disciplines including engineering, project management, commercial, logistics, and corporate enabling services.
