The Business Improvement Section is focused on evidence-based continuous improvement to ensure our clients receive streamlined and accurate decisions in respect to their claims. The Section also supports DVA's strategic objectives through targeted efficiency improvements aimed at delivering best practice solutions to streamline processes and enhance the client service experience.

We are seeking Business Improvement Officers to work in partnership with service delivery teams to enhance claims processing capability and the DVA experience for veterans and their families.

The positions will undertake critical assessment of business processes, project management, and the design and implementation of improvement initiatives to achieve client-focused outcomes.

Eligibility This recruitment process is being used to fill ongoing and/or non-ongoing position/s. For more information about the role, please see the Candidate Information Pack.

Where a non-ongoing position is offered, the role will be filled for an initial specified term of up to 23 months.

A merit pool of suitable applicants may be created which may be used to fill future ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies should they become available over the next 18 months.

Successful applicants engaged into the APS will be subject to a probation period.
