Chandler Macleod are recruiting an APS6 Business Analyst for a contract until June 30, 2025, for our Federal Government Client.

About the company:
Our Federal Government Client is seeking a skilled Business Analyst.
The Business Analyst role is pivotal, with reasonable autonomy and accountability to exercise both initiative and judgment to interpret legislation and policy in the application of practices and procedures to achieve outcomes within the functions.

About the role: Producing reports, interpreting data, and analysing results using standard statistical techniques.Coordinating divisional and branch reporting requirements to monitor and track improvement and performance outcomes.Developing business functional requirements and resources, consistent with contractual, legislative, and policy environments.Translating business metrics to inform internal stakeholder requirements, including efficiency, improvement, and performance outcomes to optimise customer experience.Designing and delivering workshops, communication, and consultation resources that support complex systems and business information gathering and sharing.Establishing and implementing governance and compliance processes, dashboards, and management systems to track branch and divisional performance against plans and targets.Implementing and maintaining audit and risk processes, controls, and undertaking issues resolution. Key skills required for the role: Critical thinkingProblem SolvingDecision makingDocumentation and writing skillsSolution analysisExcel proficiencyDesirable skills: Experience with Customer Records Management Systems, including SalesforceExperience with developing and testing on-screen guidanceExperience developing and testing automated correspondenceBenefits: ASAP start pending Federal Police ClearanceTemporary assignment until 30 June 2025Full-time hours Monday to FridayLocations considered - Canberra ACT, Newcastle, Adelaide, Melbourne, and GeelongAPS6 $60.26 per hour + super *** Please note the successful candidate for the role must hold Australian Citizenship *** Role closes for applications on 06/11/24
