$91,702 - $104,753 + up to 15.4% Superannuation Various - ACT, Various - NSW, Various - QLD, Various - VIC The Role Joint Capabilities Group (JCG), ICT Operations Division (ICTOD) is seeking a highly motivated professional change manager with recent experience in providing strong, proactive management in an ICT or Customer Service environment within a complex organisation.
The Audio Visual (AV) Change Manager will ensure the controlled and safe release of changes in to the Defence information environment, and will maintain AV Configuration Items (CIs) within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
The AV Change & Engineering Team operate in a fast-paced environment focused on cyber assurance, where demands on attention to detail and the need to be agile can be high.
Applicants will need to demonstrate exceptional communication skills with many key stakeholders, including a high level of resilience and attention to detail.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the management and progression of changes to through various approval gates at Technical Change Advisory Board (TCAB) and Deployment Change Advisory Board (DCAB).
The successful applicant will be required to conduct post deployment reviews of documentation and artefacts as part of an assurance activity that supports cyber resilience of AV installations across the Defence information environment.
The successful applicant will also be adept in the development, implementation, compliance with and review of policies and procedures.
This position relies heavily on the ability to communicate in a professional, precise and competent manner whilst problem solving and delivering operational outcomes to strategic stakeholders.
About our Team The Directorate of Audio Visual Operations (DAVO) acts as the Joint Capabilities Group (JCG) representative for the delivery of audio visual and video teleconferencing services across the Defence footprint.
Our team comprises a mix of Australian Public Service (APS) and Contracted personnel located between several major Defence bases Australia wide.

Our Ideal Candidate The AV Change Manager will be an exceptional communicator with proven problem solving skills in delivering outcomes to high profile clientele.
They will engage with stakeholders at a high-level, and will be required to identify relevant stakeholder expectations, delivering the appropriate services to achieve operational outcomes.
They will be accountable under broad direction to undertake complex Audio Visual change management activities.
They will work independently, having some authority and discretion to investigate information from diverse sources and explore innovative approaches to support the longer-term business objectives and stakeholder needs.
They will be capable and confident in delivering solutions, presenting business cases, and developing and maintaining suitable work practices and procedures that remain in accordance with Defence's mission critical business objectives.
The AV Change & Engineering Team is fast-paced and outcome driven.
The AV Change Manager will need to rapidly implement and drive solutions, prioritising workloads determined by key stakeholders.
They will plan, implement and review Audio Visual change requests in order to meet end user requirements, and will be involved in the ongoing management and control of operational facilities, ICT conferencing solutions and ad-hoc VIP related Audio Visual requests.
The AV Change Manager will use their initiative and experience to analyse, plan, review and adjust work activities to deliver business outcomes.
They will undertake objective, systematic analysis and draw accurate conclusions based on evidence.
They will gather and communicate detailed technical, operational, professional and procedural advice in relation to complex Audio Visual installations and will liaise at all times with key stakeholders to communicate towards team success.
