$91,702 - $104,753 + up to 15.4% superannuation Russell - ACT, Sydney - NSW, Melbourne - VIC The Role The Army Data Architect position underpins the continuous design, development and operation of the Army Data Warehouse (ADW) on premise and developing cloud solutions. The position includes the solution requirements development, design and development including data integration architectures, and security architectures based on Army's available technology solutions and projects. This also includes providing technical design advice to the Army Data Hub (organisation and projects) for on premises and cloud options, supporting the Data Engineer and Business Analytics functions. About our Team You will be joining the Directorate of Business Intelligence (DBI) within Army Headquarters. DBI is primarily focused on delivery of business intelligence to Chief of Army. It also contains the Army Data Hub, who provide access to Army data to dedicated spokes for self-service analytics. Working alongside a team of dedicated data professionals, you will be in a supportive work environment with access to all of the guidance and support needed to succeed. Our Ideal Candidate As the ideal candidate, you will bring demonstrated ability in enterprise data modelling / dimensional modelling, preferably through previous experience in similar roles. You will have a good understanding and application of data governance principles. You will have experience in the delivery of data architecture and design documentation.
