APS6 Advisor, Procurement Compliance and ReportingThe Role Are you an experienced APS 6 Advisor, Procurement Compliance and Reporting Officer looking for a non-ongoing, temporary or permanent transfer in the new year? Do you have government procurement experience and are based in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Adelaide? If you answered yes to these questions, then this role may be for you!
Duties and Responsibilities: Support the implementation and management of Quality Assurance and governance activities across Austrade through the development and maintenance of a comprehensive procurement compliance reporting framework and associated processes.Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to procurement policies and legislation.Provide sound expert advice on procurement compliance, reporting, and governance to ensure quality and compliance with associated legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures.Contribute to the development and implementation of improved procurement controls and processes.Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders by developing news articles and presentations that enable knowledge sharing and development.Manage the development and implementation of the Compliance Management Framework.Do You Have? Demonstrated experience in compliance, governance, and reporting, essential to ensuring compliance and reporting of organisational adherence to established standards and methodologies.Experience in governance management, change control, and quality management within a complex environment is essential.The ability to work independently with limited supervision and manage workload to ensure quality and timely advice.Sound knowledge in the application of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and connected policies.Demonstrated experience in the provision of procurement and contract management advice and support to a diverse range of stakeholders.Well-developed writing and storytelling skills, important for supporting the development of clear, concise, and influential briefing materials, advice, and responses to questions on notice, tailored to the needs of various audiences including the Senior Executive and Senate Estimates hearings.If you are interested in the role, please submit via the link.
