$83,706 - $89,659 + up to 15.4% Superannuation Enoggera - QLD The Role The APS 5 ILS Practitioner - Acquisition role within Army Uncrewed Aerial Systems Acquisition Project Office (AUAS APO) Small UAS (SUAS) Team will be accountable under limited direction to perform and achieve complex material logistics work within an integrated workforce.
They are accountable to have and maintain a well-developed understanding of relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence's mission and policy requirements.
The SUAS APS 5 ILS Practitioner will work within a relatively small-integrated APS, ADF and Contractor team with the opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability for the achievement of their work.
They will be one of the Materiel Logistics subject matter experts in the APO, and will perform various Acquisition and Introduction Into Service logistics duties to ensure the delivery of safe and effective capability inputs to Army Aviation as established through Materiel Acquisition Agreements, Acquisition Contracts and Product Management Plans.
Routine duties of the SUAS ILS Practitioner - Acquisition will include: Assist with Items of Stock (IOS) Acquisition Acceptance and Introduction Into Service, Manage IOS Codification and Cataloguing in consultation with Contractors and the National Codification Branch.
Conduct Logistics Governance and Assurance, Receipt and Issue accepted items.
MILIS/ERP account management and governance.
The APS 5 ILS Practitioner may coordinate and contribute to the work of the AUAS APO Integrated Logistics Management Team.
They may be accountable to set work priorities, allocate work and manage workflows and performance.
The APS 5 ILS Practitioner- Acquisition will have considerable level of stakeholder engagement and will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders in relation to complex issues.
They will be required to identify, anticipate and respond to stakeholders' needs and expectations to achieve project outcomes.
About our Team The Cargo Helicopter and Uncrewed Surveillance Program Office (CHUSPO) delivers through-life support for the CH-47F Chinook and Army Aviation System Branch supported fleets of Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS).
The Program Office is made up of the Cargo Helicopter Management Unit (CHMU), the Uncrewed Aerial Systems Management Unit (UASMU), the Engineering Management Unit (EMU), the Army Uncrewed Aerial Systems Acquisition Project Office (AUAS APO) and the Business Management Unit (BMU).
AUAS APO is the primary acquisition agency supporting Army's UAS capability requirements.
We manage and deliver the acquisition of a range of UAS, including operator and aircrew UAS training systems for Army, and work with industry to understand the latest developments in UAS technology and applications.
