APS5 SOP Review and Update Specialist
About the Role:
Our Federal Government Client is seeking an experienced SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) Review and Update Specialist on a labour hire basis for a 12 month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for revising and updating SOPs, initially focusing on the Emergency Control Organisation (ECO) and Facilities procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of visitors, staff, and the agency facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and update SOPs for the ECO and Facilities teams to align with current best practices in safety and operational protocols.
Perform quality assurance checks and risk assessments.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather input and feedback.
Conduct a programme of works with agreed timeframes and milestones upon contract commencement.
Analyse and report on customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong written and verbal communication skills, able to work independently and proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience in SOP development, facilities management, business continuity, and/or emergency management is highly desirable.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated experience in SOP review and implementation
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to quality standards
Customer-focused with strong analytical skills
Able to perform independently and meet the responsibilities of an APS5 level
Engagement Details:
The initial phase of this role involves gathering information and building an understanding of project timeframes. A programme of works will be established and committed to at the start of the contract.
