APS5 Research and Data Impact Officer (PPCG/SRHU)The Sexual and Reproductive Health Unit is leading the development of national sexual and reproductive health monitoring data to inform policy and improve healthcare outcomes. This includes:
Taking a life course approach and attention to key areas such as menstruation and puberty disorders, contraception, termination of pregnancy, miscarriage, and perimenopause and menopause are key components of this work.
The Sexual and Reproductive Health Unit is within the Priority Populations & Capability Group at the Institute, which plays a key national role in monitoring the pregnancy and birth experiences and outcomes of mothers and babies in Australia, sexual and reproductive health, as well as monitoring veterans' health and welfare. The Group also supports the Institute to employ advanced analytical techniques and tools, including machine learning and artificial intelligence.
The Sexual and Reproductive Health Unit is looking for a Research and Data Impact Officer who can work with the team to conduct analysis and develop online data and information products tailored to meet a variety of stakeholder needs from the government and non-government sectors.
As the APS5 Research and Data Impact Officer, you will work under general direction with the Project Manager and Unit Head to:
Conduct analysis and develop online data and information products.
