About the role
This position will be in the Australian Institute of Criminology (AIC). The AIC is Australia's national research and knowledge centre on crime and justice. We seek to promote justice and reduce crime by undertaking and communicating high quality, applied research to inform policy and practice. We conduct rigorous empirical research on topics that are of national significance.
The position will be based in the AIC's Statistical Collections Program with the candidate responsible for the administration of the AIC's crime and justice monitoring programs and the preparation of research outputs.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following experience, skills and attributes:
Essential qualifications
Four-year degree (minimum) and research experience with administrative or survey data. Postgraduate qualifications in an area of relevance to the AIC's research program is desirable, preferably completed with Honours and knowledge of research and analytical methodologies.
