$83,706 - $89,659 + up to 15.4% Superannuation Garden Island - WA The Role The role of the Submarine Escape and Rescue Service (SERS) Project Support Officer will include the following: Assist SERS Project Manager with project related tasks such as scheduling, procurement, planning, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Assist with tasks relating to Product Management, Document Deliverables and System Certification Activities.
Assist with the development of Statements of Work and Request for Quotes for exercises using technical and professional knowledge and experience to meet Defence objectives.
If required, assist SERS Naval Architect with engineering and technical shipboard analysis and vessel surveys.
Work collaboratively with peers and stakeholders to understand their requirements and solve complex issues as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Communicate with stakeholders and line management regarding and technical aspects across the Defence materiel capability lifecycle including preparing briefs, proposals, reports and presentations.
Interpret and comply with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks in the preparation and approval of submissions, estimates, specifications and documents.
About our Team Submarine Abandonment Escape and Rescue team are a critical element of the Collins Submarine Program (CSMP) within National Shipbuilding Sustainment Group (NSSG).
CSMP is responsible for maintenance and programmed upgrade of Australia's Collins Class submarines.
The Program works in partnership with the Royal Australian Navy and Industry to deliver the strategic submarine capability to the nation.
