About the Role: We are seeking a high-performing  APS5 Parliamentary and Event Officer  with a strong skillset and experience in supporting parliamentary, ministerial, and event management functions.
In this fast-paced role, you will collaborate with senior executives, government departments, and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
This position offers the opportunity to work on high-visibility projects with tight deadlines.
Classification/Level:   APS5 Contract Duration:  6 Months (extension can be discussed )   Location:  Canberra, ACT Requirements: Must be an Australia citizen Undergo ID verification check Undergo a Police Check Must hold a Baseline Security Clearance or able to obtain Responsibilities: Monitor and manage the parliamentary inbox and document systems Provide administrative support to the CEO, executives, and team Draft, proofread, and coordinate ministerial and briefing correspondence Manage Senate Estimates, Question Time Briefs, and Questions on Notice Coordinate external ARC events, including logistics and stakeholder liaison Assist in the tabling of ARC documents in Parliament Required Experience: Strong organisational and time management skills, able to manage competing priorities Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, for liaising with staff and stakeholders at all levels Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with parliamentary processes and brief writing (desirable) Proficient IT skills with adaptability to new software systems Ideal Candidate: Highly organized multitasker with experience in: Parliamentary and ministerial briefings Event coordination Administrative tasks Thrives in a fast-paced environment Makes sound decisions under pressure Agile and driven to meet tight deadlines Ensures high accuracy in all tasks "For more details or a confidential discussion about the  APS5 Parliamentary and Event Officer  role, click 'APPLY NOW' or contact Alyanna Ensenado at 0261137521.
