$83,706 - $89,659 + up to 15.4% SuperannuationRussell - ACTThe RoleMinisterial and Executive Coordination and Communication Division (MECC) has several APS 5 positions available. The roles span across the MPC Branch. We are looking for people with experience in administration and coordination, stakeholder and executive support, and cabinet liaison. Working in MPC provides you with privileged insight into decision making directly related to national security and an opportunity to work closely with Ministerial staff, Defence senior leaders, and across Defence.MECC operates in a high tempo environment and is high profile by nature, servicing top-tier executives and supporting the four Ministers and their offices. Our environment is privy to highly sensitive information, so confidentiality is critical for our people. We are looking for candidates who can thrive in fast-paced environments. A merit list will be established.About our TeamMinisterial, Parliamentary and Cabinet Branch enables and facilitates Defence to provide best practice advice and services to the Australian Parliament, Ministers, and the Defence Senior Executive. The Branch provides support, advice, and information to ensure high standards of compliance with Ministerial, Cabinet, and Parliamentary practices.The Branch comprises five teams: Ministerial and PDMS Services.Cabinet Liaison Services.Ministerial Support.Parliamentary Business and Committees.Senate Estimates and Executive Support Unit.Our Ideal CandidateThese positions require administrative, governance, and stakeholder engagement skills.
