The KMO harnesses information and opportunities to improve the user journey and the user experience of audiences in a large web environment.
They will contribute their expertise to the continuous improvement of the Defence web environment, via the provision of exceptional customer service, project delivery, content production and training supply that guides the efficient and effective delivery of digital initiatives.

About our Team The Directorate of Communications, Change and Corporate Graphics (DCCCG) within the Program Management and Governance branch is part of the Service Delivery Division (SDD) in the Security and Estate Group.
DCCCG is responsible for ensuring relevant and consistent communications across Service Delivery Division, managing organisational change elements relating to digital service delivery and delivering a number of Defence-wide corporate services including Defence corporate document publishing, Graphics and management of Defence corporate templates.
DCCCG is at the forefront of shaping the way Defence's Estate information is managed and distributed.
The SDD Web & Corporate Web Publishing team within DCCCG, is a team of web experts, including web developers, web content and audience engagement strategists, web content publishers and training providers.
The team works collaboratively, and with a mindset of continuous improvement and sustainability, to optimise the user experience of Defence websites and support efficient delivery of web communication.
Our Ideal Candidate The KMO will have excellent attention to detail, well developed computer skills, and a strong client service orientation.
The successful applicant will be adaptable, a highly motivated team player, be committed to web standards, and have the ability to produce web content.
They will be responsible for data analysis in order to provide evidence-based strategic insights and recommendations regarding quality assurance and standards compliance.
They will test information architecture, write and review draft content, and work with stakeholders to iterate and continuously improve solutions.
The KMO will contribute to web enhancement project delivery and enthusiastically assist with the operational tasks and triage web support requests.
They have the exciting opportunity to positively impact the internal Service Delivery Division web environment, Defence Corporate Document Publications and Defence Defgrams.
Lastly, the KMO will have experience in managing web platforms and implementing web structures.
Sound knowledge of and demonstrated ability in the use of Drupal, Adobe Dreamweaver, Integrated Business Support System, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe photoshop, SharePoint and GovCMSwould be an advantage but is not mandatory.
Having the the ability and drive to acquire such skills is also highly desirable.
