About this opportunity
The NACC has a number of role Investigation Support Officer positions available for immediate filling in Canberra, Melbourne or Sydney.
A merit list will be established to fill vacancies arising in the next 18 months.
About the role
The Investigation Support Officer will work within a small team responsible for supporting the Operations branches of the NACC.
The Operations branches are responsible for conducting complex and sensitive investigations into allegations of corruption in the Australian Government Law Enforcement agencies within NACC's jurisdiction.
These positions provide high level administrative support to the Operations branches by undertaking a range of administrative and operational activities to support the delivery of operational outcomes and the achievement of organisational objectives.
Duties
The successful candidate will work under the general direction of the Electronic Collections Officer.
Key activities of this position include:
Provide high level administrative support to the Operations and Operations Capabilities Branches including calendar and inbox management, conducting searches on databases to support investigative activities, maintenance of registers and databases, and appropriate records management.Provide electronic monitoring support to the operational areas, including the monitoring and review of recorded material, the quality assurance of transcripts and the provision of basic transcription services.
Assist with digital forensics analysis.Utilisation of databases – Including the interrogation, input, collation and retrieval of data to support operational activity and reporting requirements.Ensure compliance with and assist in the development of policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.Undertake financial processing of invoices, procurement of operational equipment and services, facilitate provision of systems access to staff, and work with other areas of the agency to coordinate operational requirements including travel arrangements in accordance with mandated policies and procedures.Assist with the coordination of operational requests for information to partner and jurisdictional agencies.The NACC is a small agency.
In addition to these activities, from time to time you may be asked to undertake tasks that are outside your usual span of duties but that are within the range of your capabilities.

Citizenship – applicants must be an Australian Citizen.Security clearance – this is a Designated Security Assessment Position.
The occupant of this position will be required to undergo and maintain a security clearance to Negative Vetting 1.Suitability assessment - the NACC must be satisfied that successful applicants are of suitable character.
