The Opportunity On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking APS5 Guidance Officers based in Adelaide CBD.
The role is a 12-month assignment working 37.5 hours per week, paying $55.24 per hour plus super.
The APS5 Guidance Officer will work as part of the Guidance and Practice team and will be responsible for interpreting legislation and policy and creating guidance and procedural documents for use internally and externally for the Agency.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Research, draft and update internal and external guidance documentation ensuring that they meet the plain English and accessibility standards.Interpret the policy and legislative environment and translate the Act and Rules into guidance material.Develop or update guidance material in response to stakeholder feedback.Understanding of the key stages of the pathway, specific cohorts and technical processes within SAP CRM and PACE business system requirements.Provide service delivery knowledge and advice about procedural guidance, practice implementation and operational matters.Manage multiple priorities while maintaining high work standards, governance protocols and accuracy meeting deadlines.To be considered you will demonstrate:Experience within a similar role- communications & writing background.Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex information into clear, easy to understand resources.Ability to undertake data and system analysis to gather evidence-based information.Managing multiple priorities while maintaining high work standards and accuracy, meeting defined timeframes and performing other duties as requested.Ability to work under limited direction, guided by policies, accepted standards and precedents.Ability to solve complex problems by gathering detailed information, analysing and investigating options and outcomes.To ApplyAs this role is with a Federal Government Agency, applicants are required to hold Australian Citizenship at the time of applying.
