The Hub does this by administering community-based grants on behalf of the department and eight other government departments.The Health Grants Branch (the Branch) is responsible for managing the portfolio of grant programs on behalf of the Department of Health and Aged Care. These programs work to improve the health and wellbeing of all Australians, now and for future generations.Funding Arrangement Manager (FAM)The Funding Arrangement Manager (FAM) is responsible for the planning, administration and conduct of grants (funding agreements); gathering and analysing evidence to assess funding recipient performance and identify risks, issues and improvement opportunities, and developing relationships to support productive partnerships.Key ResponsibilitiesConducting high quality administration of funding agreement performance assurance activities, particularly those with moderate to high complexity.Gathering and analysing evidence to assess funding recipient performance against program aims.Supporting performance assurance by identifying opportunities, gaps, risks and issues and supporting the implementation of appropriate strategies.Understanding and identifying business risks and issues and confidently apply judgment to determine when escalation is required to help achieve resolution.Identifying and contributing to the development of improvement opportunities to help achieve policy, program and process improvements.Developing relationships with funding recipients to support productive partnerships that deliver performance outcomes.Planning and conducting effective and purposeful engagements with stakeholders to gather information.Recording information obtained through engagements and other performance activities in corporate systems.Training will be provided to assist new staff to perform their role.Core CapabilitiesThe Hub is looking for candidates with a diverse range of skills and backgrounds who have a passion for helping achieve outcomes for vulnerable Australians.
