Salary: $83,706 - $89,659 + up to 15.4% Superannuation Location: Russell - ACT The Role The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and diverse environment requiring a number of key skills including the ability to: Engage and negotiate with clients and stakeholders including project team members and subject matter experts and respond to complex enquiries and contract management issues; Monitor and manage contract administration, performance and risks against the contract and contribute to implementing appropriate action; Undertake procurement and contract management activities, ensuring compliance with legislation, procurement policies and procedures; Apply knowledge to deliver procurement documentation including templates, reports, submissions, plans, strategies and risk; Understand and apply legal principles, legislative and mandatory policy compliance obligation and critical commercial risk and performance requirements.
This position undertakes complex contract management and contract administration work, provides advice and assistance on complex policy, procurement and contract management issues, assists in the development of procurement documentation and is at the front line of engagement with stakeholders.
About our Team The Hunter Class Frigate (HCF) will be one of the most advanced warships in the world with cutting edge technology and capabilities.
As Australia's largest shipbuilding project, HCF provides the foundation for Continuous Naval Shipbuilding in Australia.
We are working with experts from the UK, USA, Canada and Europe to provide six frigates optimised for anti-submarine warfare to the Royal Australian Navy.
The frigates are being constructed at the Osborne Naval Shipyard, South Australia utilising the latest production technologies.
