$83,706 - $89,659 + up to 15.4% Superannuation Amberley - QLD The Role As a Compliance Officer within Headquarters Health Services Wing (HQHSW), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective governance and compliance of health services delivered to the Australian Defence Force.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the support of agile and scalable aerospace health capabilities, crucial to the operational readiness of the Air Force.
You will work collaboratively with the Clinical Quality and Assurance team, reporting to the A1 – Personnel Capability Officer.
You will be instrumental in ensuring that all Air Force health professionals meet credentialing requirements and you will support Air Force in meeting relevant healthcare and compliance standards.
Success in this role will assist in ensuring Air Force delivers safe, effective clinical care to those in need.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and monitor financial governance and compliance within Health Services Wing.
Interpret and apply Defence legislation, policies, and regulatory frameworks to support clinical governance activities.
Monitor credentialing processes for health professionals to ensure compliance with standards and the provision of safe clinical care.

Our Ideal Candidate We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual with the following attributes: Experience in Compliance and Governance: Demonstrated experience in assessing compliance issues, interpreting and applying legislation and policies, and determining outcomes.
Defence Health Experience: Previous experience within Defence health services, particularly in the Air Force, is highly desirable.
Resilience and Integrity: Ability to handle sensitive issues with professionalism and maintain high ethical standards.
Organisational Excellence: Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Communication Skills: Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
