$83,706 - $89,659 + up to 15.4% Superannuation Southbank - VIC The Role An opportunity exists for an experienced health administrator to become the APS 5 Practice Manager of a health facility delivering services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) members at Victoria Barracks Melbourne, Southbank, Victoria.
This is a dynamic role, working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day management of the facility and be directly responsible for managing a wide range of administrative and coordination activities to ensure the provision of high quality health care.
These duties can include managing workforce rosters, budget allocations, and workplace health and safety requirements, as well as conducting governance and quality assurance activities.
Another key aspect of this role is leading a small team and engaging with other relevant stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for ADF members.
Effective communication skills are essential.

The APS5 Practice Manager position is part of Joint Health Unit - Victoria/Tasmania and is based at Victoria Barracks Clinic, Southbank, Victoria.
Each Joint Health Unit facility provides a range of services which can include medical, nursing, dental, physiotherapy, mental health, rehabilitation, and in-patient care.
The JHC workforce is an integrated, multi-disciplinary team of Defence members, civilians, contractors and professional health providers.
We work together to manage around one million patient health service interactions with Defence members each year.
This position reports to the Health Centre Manager at Simpson Health Centre in Macleod.
