to engage an
APS5 Chemistry Analyst . This position is located in their busy Symonston ACT office for an initial
contract until 17/04/2025 .
Duties
Engage in chemical and physical testing of therapeutic products for quality and purity, using various techniques.
Undertake chemical and physical testing of therapeutic products.
Undertake investigative (forensic) testing of complaint samples and counterfeit or unregistered therapeutic products.
Participate in developing and validating analytical methods.
Prepare reports on testing of therapeutic products and keep records.
Assist in the development and maintenance of the laboratories quality systems.
Provide support with administrative tasks such as sample logging, sample requests, and correspondence.
Participate in and contribute to performance discussions.
Requirements/Skills
Tertiary degree in Chemistry or a closely related science.
Recent lab-based experience in a relevant area of applied analytical chemistry highly regarded.
Experience with instrumental analytical techniques such as UPLC/HPLC, LC/MS, GC/MS, and UV/VIS, advantageous.
Experience with both chemical and instrumental qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques.
