Their work revolves around empowering individuals and enhancing their quality of life. Your new role Both positions require individuals who can undertake complex work guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies, and precedents. The roles involve designing, developing, and facilitating engagement sessions with internal and external stakeholders, including the co-design of set projects. They also require coordination and assistance in strategic planning, program and project management, and policy development. Key Responsibilities APS5 Co-Design and Engagement Officer will be responsible for: Coordinating co-design working groups, workshops and other events. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to prepare co-design materials. Maintaining relationships with relevant key stakeholders to support effective engagement. Working as part of a high-performing team to effectively engage with people with disabilities, their families and carers using a nationally consistent engagement approach. Representing at external forums and events, providing information and guidance to people with disabilities, participants and the wider community. Proactively delivering engagement activities and projects against the Engagement Framework by applying your co-design and engagement experience. Delivering clear, concise and effective messaging to people with disability, their families and carers as well as other community stakeholders. Managing a shared inbox, acting as a point of escalation for the triaging of enquiries and requests. APS6 Co-Design and Engagement Officer will be responsible for: Coordinating critical data analysis and feedback to measure the effectiveness of activities and strategies, including identifying associated risks and trends. Contributing to the development, implementation and monitoring of targeted engagement strategies and aligning to the broader engagement strategy and frameworks, with branch and divisional business plans. Building strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate participation in a diverse range of engagement activities and events, including stakeholder meetings, information sessions, forums, conferences and webinars. Contributing to the implementation and operationalisation of a targeted, proactive engagement strategy, including a forward planned events calendar, aligned to the corporate plan, broader Engagement Strategy and with branch and divisional business plans.
