APS5/6 Social Media Officer
6-12 month non-ongoing contract
The Social Media Advisor in the Communication and Media Section works closely with team members to create high-quality and engaging social media content.
The role is responsible for providing social media advice and support across the agency, including risk management and better-practice recommendations.
Duties Manage the agency's social media presence, including development and implementation of the social media strategy, moderation and analytics.Develop guidance and governance materials to improve social media capability, production and workflows.Oversee the development and design of high quality and engaging social media content for varying online audiences, including evaluation and reporting.Assist the broader team in maintaining and updating website and intranet content, while utilising analytics for reporting.Curate, amplify and engage with content across partner channels.Key Capabilities Possess a deep passion and background in digital marketing, along with an eagerness to learn and contribute across various team functions.Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders crucial for enhancing outcomes.Have experience in developing and executing strategies as well as managing social media projects.Strong analytical and writing abilities are vital, in addition to initiative, interpersonal and negotiation skills.Minimum Requirements At least 4 years of relevant experience in a comparable position.A comprehensive knowledge of social media platforms is essential.Requirements Australian Citizenship.NV1 Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain.Locations Canberra, Sydney or Melbourne.
