Our client is looking for an experienced Onboarding Officer to join their People Branch team.
This role will help to assist the agency to fulfill its day-to-day operations and onboarding requirements.
The People Branch delivers human resource services across the agency, supporting functions such as recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee relations, Work Health and Safety, wellbeing, performance management, culture and engagement, and workforce planning.
What you will bring:Be able to be agile in a high tempo environment while abiding to recruitment policies, procedures and practices.Demonstrated ability to proactively identify potential problems or issues and appropriately resolve or escalate to senior team members.Ability to achieve quality results within timeframes with strong attention to detail and a commitment to ongoing improvements.Have or be capable of acquiring proficiency with our HR Systems such as Aurion and ServiceNow.Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, internal and external.Key responsibilities:Completing and managing assigned daily tickets using our ticket management system in a timely and responsible manner.Actively addressing enquiries through various channels from internal and external stakeholders.Maintaining proficiency in relevant systems like Aurion, ServiceNow, and Fit2Work.Providing guidance and support to stakeholders during the onboarding process and internal movements.Performing quality assurance checks on tickets while ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, AEC guidelines, and APSC principles.Assisting the Employee Relations and Operations section with project activities to support Agency objectives.Proactively identifying and reporting potential problems or issues to senior team members.Maintaining our Standard operating procedures & templates and archiving documents.Requirements:Political neutrality.Australian citizenship.Baseline Security Clearance or ability to obtain.Character clearance, including a police check.Contact for a confidential discussion to hear more.
