As the APS4 Level Scheme Debt Finance Officer, you'll play a vital role in supporting debt management, recovery, and financial compliance efforts. Working within a focused team, located in CANBERRA ACT, you'll ensure processes adhere to legislative standards while contributing to the financial sustainability of a national scheme.

Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update the scheme debt register, addressing system-cancelled and unrecovered debts.Support debt recovery in line with policy, working with various teams, providers, and participants.Prepare invoices, manage payment cancellations, and ensure accuracy in financial records.Assist in developing team procedures and mapping out processes.Extract and analyse data for comprehensive management reporting.Address queries related to SAP/PSCD payments and bank account issues.Collaborate on project initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.Benefits: Competitive pay rate of $43.82 per hour, including casual loading, providing you with financial stability and recognition for your expertise.11.5% superannuation to secure your future and support your retirement planning.ASAP start date, allowing you to embark on this exciting opportunity without delay.Hybrid work environment: two days in the office, with flexibility.Full-time position, offering 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, enabling a healthy work-life balance and time.Work within a well-established organisation with a significant impact on society.About You: Essential Skills: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all financial records.Ability to comply with legislative and policy standards.Excellent communication skills to handle diverse enquiries.Team-oriented with a positive approach to collaborative work.Desirable Skills: Background in accounting or accounts receivable.Experience in debt recovery.Proficiency in database administration and data analysis.
