The Internal Governance Section is responsible for high-level oversight of planning, coordination, event management, and the delivery of end-to-end secretariat support for DVA's Tier 1 and Tier 2 internal governance committees and forums.
The section also provides advice to internal stakeholders, including senior management, in relation to responsible governance policy and processes. This includes conducting reviews of existing processes or frameworks and providing recommendations on changes to the Department's governance framework to increase business efficiency.

Where a non-ongoing position is offered, the role will be filled for an initial specified term of up to 23 months.
A merit pool of suitable applicants may be created which may be used to fill future ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies should they become available over the next 18 months.
Successful applicants engaged into the APS will be subject to a probation period.
