APS4 Executive Assistant, National Manager People, CanberraPosition Type: Ongoing | Full-timeAbout the roleThe role of the Executive Assistant (EA) is to provide quality administrative support services to a member of the Senior Executive Service. The EA will be required to manage the diary and appointments of their employer, provide support and briefing papers for meetings, organise events, manage travel and liaise with internal and external stakeholders. An EA must be flexible and adaptable to changing work priorities and demonstrate high levels of resilience.Key responsibilities:Provide active support to a branch or work area (APS4) by undertaking 'front of office' functions, including greeting visitors, receiving and responding to phone calls, emails and correspondence, directing enquiries to the most appropriate service channel and assisting in resolving more complex customer issues that ariseCommunicate with employees internally and externally, such as external government departments and members of the public on behalf of the SES OfficerProvide advice, organise, schedule and coordinate all travel arrangements and supporting documentation for the Senior Executive and/or staff in a branch or work areaBuild and sustain relationships and obtain cooperation and assistance within the work area and other areas of the ACICUnderstand and support the principles of the legislative, regulatory, and corporate policy and procedures as they apply in the ACICBe responsive to changes and use common sense to solve problems that may be complex yet broadly similar to previous situations, research solutions which generally can be found in documented precedents or proceduresApply sufficient expertise and experience to perform a range of procedural, operational, administrative, analytical and problem-solving activities.  Location: CanberraPosition Type: Ongoing | Full-timeSalary: $74,422 - $80,807About the roleThe role of the Executive Assistant (EA) is to provide quality administrative support services to a member of the Senior Executive Service.
