You will be part of a team that leads the scoping, designing and creation of world class ICT and digital capabilities across one of Defence's key ICT programs, integrating solutions to realise positive capability outcomes.
The Digital Capability-Military Branch is a new area within Defence Digital Group, focused on capability management of Defence Networks, and helping facilitate digital demand from a variety of key stakeholders within Defence.

Our Ideal Candidate You will: Provide administrative support that is informed and directed by your knowledge of the administration function.
Have a sound understanding of and compliance with relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence's mission and policy requirements.
Display initiative and apply sound judgment.
Evaluate changes and use common sense to solve problems that may be challenging yet broadly similar to previous situations and research solutions.
Deliver executive support arrangements and administrative assistance to senior executive, display initiative and apply sound judgment in providing executive support to senior executives.
Be accountable under limited direction to perform and achieve administrative support work within an integrated workforce.
Be accountable to share information, monitor work practices, set work priorities and develop local procedures.
Identify issues, taking responsibility for gaining a clear understanding by listening and asking clarifying questions to others and applying common sense.
Utilise information available to prepare briefing packs, reports and papers for senior Defence committees.
Liaise with stakeholders and visitors of all levels, building and sustaining solid working relationships in order to work collaboratively within the work area and other areas of Defence and providing a point of contact for assistance and general enquiries.
Be accountable to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development.
