About us: Robert Walters Federal Government team are working with a large number of Federal Government departments, to provide experienced and skilled procurement specialists for permanent and non-ongoing positions.
Your New role: We are working with a number of Federal Government departments across Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
The duties and responsibilities in this role are inclusive but not limited to the following:
Managing the end-to-end tendering process including drafting of tendering documents and contract documentation. Negotiate and support to deliver value for money procurement and ensure the organisationmakes sound commercial decisions. Identify and manage potential procurement and contract delivery issues or risks. Develop and maintain up to date contract documentation (contract variations), procedures, data and records and ensure timely communication of relevant information. Contract management of high value or strategic contracts. Maintain a focus on creating collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximisepotential opportunities that support efficiencies and savings. Regulate compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs). What you'll need to succeed; To be successful, you will have demonstrated experience working as a Procurement Specialist within a Government environment. Tertiary qualifications in procurement, a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience in a similar capacity is required.
These roles are only open to Australian Citizens and candidates must be willing to undertake all onboarding requirements, such as a National Police check.
Some roles may require candidates to obtain and maintain a AGSVA Security Clearance of a Baseline or NV1 clearance.
