This well-known Federal Government Department responsible for supporting people to have safe, secure and well-paid work with the skills for a sustainable future are seeking an APS4 Executive Assistant and an APS5 Executive to join one of their divisions to provide additional support to the executive assistant cohort.
You will be supporting one Assistant Secretary at the APS4 level and either two Assistant Secretaries or a First Assistant Secretary at the APS5 level.
Your new role
As an Executive Assistant, you will proactively support senior executives by managing front office functions, handling correspondence, and resolving client issues.
You will also provide executive and administrative assistance, manage multiple diaries, organise conferences and meetings, and build strong working relationships within and outside the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in these positions, you will have previous experience in a similar position and the Federal Government.
You will also have excellent relationship-building skills and a client-centred approach, well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, sound judgement, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential matters, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, and PowerPoint.
To be considered for these positions, you will need to be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
