APS3 Participant Support Officer | Colac | 12-Month Contract | $37.36 PH + Super Your new company

I am partnered with a Federal Government Agency in Colac to recruit an APS3 Participant Support Officer for a full-time temporary assignment for 12 month position.


Your new role


As the APS3 Participant Support Officer you will be working on site in a Front of House position and you will be responsible for procedural, clerical, administrative support and operational tasks including some basic research and analysis activities. During this role you will be required to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Managing and resolving matters by actioning planning tasks Providing counter/reception support for the local office including participant enquiries Resolving customer enquiries, providing information and/or referring customers to appropriate government or community services. Managing the team shared email inbox, appointments and telephone enquiries. Coordinating appointments and ensuring facilities are accessible Undertaking research and investigation activities and preparing associated reports and correspondence. Undertaking a range of data entry activities and ensuring follow up is completed. Receiving and recording complaints and other feedback What you'll need to succeed


To succeed as the APS3 Participant Support Officer, you will need:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Demonstrated experience working autonomously Demonstrated experience analysing and interpreting information Experience managing conflict and difficult/sensitive information IT proficiency, especially MS Office and Customer Record Management (CRM's) Experience in Front of House and or administration type role Government experience is desired Working with Childrens Check or willing to obtain Australian Citizenship Experience in the disability, health or aged care sectors is desirable.
